ADF View
|
ADF View shell extension, which opens up the .ADF file extension. A Shell Namespace extension, which opens up the .ADF file extension. ADF files are Amiga Disk Files, or image dumps of AmigaDOS formatted disks. These files are used by most Commodore Amiga emulator software.
Because ADF View is a namespace extension, it is integrated right into the Windows Explorer. Double-clicking on an ADF file brings up the familiar folder view, where you can copy, move, delete, recover and rename files, as you would usually do with normal PC files. You can also dragndrop files from any Windows folder to an ADF folder, and back.
ADF View works with Amiga floppy images and hard disk images. It even detects Amiga hard drives attached to your computer and adds a new drive icon to the "My Computer" folder under Windows.
New and empty disk images can be created using a Wizard under the Shell New commands (The File/New sub-menu in the Windows Explorer).
ADF View Features:
1. Navigate between files and folders using the familiar Explorer folder view.
2. Do basic file manipulations, such as rename and delete files.
3. Use copy and paste as you would normally do in Explorer to copy files around.
4. Use dragndrop to quickly move files between folders.
5. Show information about volumes and files using the Properties dialogs.
6. Recover deleted files.
7. Use native Amiga harddrives on Windows NT/2000.
8. Create new disks and harddisk files.
