ADMB is Automatic Differentiation Model Builder, a software suite is an environment for non-linear statistical modeling enabling rapid model development, numerical stability, fast and efficient computation, and high accuracy parameter estimates. ADModel Builder is a high level language built around the AUTODIF Library, a C++ language extension which transparently implements reverse mode automatic differentiation. A closely related software package, ADMB-RE, implements random effects in non-linear models.

Usage: admb [-d] [-g] [-r] [-s] model

Build AD Model Builder executable from TPL.
-d Create DLL
-g Insert debugging symbols
-r Create ADMB-RE
-s Enforce safe bounds model Filename prefix, e.g. simple

ADMB contains a very large number of functions. Pseudo-prototypes" of some commonly used functions
showing the general argument types and return types. ADMB has multiple overloads of many functions with different combinations of argument types.
