BlackArmor Discovery Software is a handy tool for discovering NAS devices on your local network. BlackArmor Discovery Software, when installed, will locate (discover) Seagate NAS devices on your current, local area network (LAN) segment.

Note: This is only the Discovery application found on the Seagate BlackArmor CD. Click here if you require the entire CD image file. Note that this discovery package is NOT on the CD ISO.

1. Download and extract BlackArmor Discovery.zip to your Windows PC. The BlackArmor_Discovery_Windows Folder is created.

2. Browse to and open the BlackArmor_Discovery_Windows folder.

3. Double-click on the BlackArmor Discovery (may show as BlackArmor Discovery.exe). Follow the onscreen prompts to install the software.

4. To locate Seagate NAS devices, double-click on the BlackArmor Discovery icon found on the desktop. The BlackArmor Discovery application opens discovering all Seagate NAS devices on your network segment.
