The Open Source Configuration Validation Utility. The ByteCarrot application was developed to be an open source configuration validation utility for Windows, Linux and Unix. It gives administrators, developers, testers and QA specialists possibility to automate:
1. health monitoring of operating systems, databases, web servers, network, etc.;
2. configuration validation of operating system and applications installed on top of it;
3. installation (IQ) / operational qualification (OQ) tests required by U.S. Food and Drug Administration;
