CacheFire is a history manager for Mozilla Firefox. It allows you to specify sites which should not be kept in the browsing history. You can either specify whole URLs (web page addresses) or you can specify a partial string to match an URL.
For example, entering the string "softsea" into CacheFire would prevent all pages whose address contain the string "softsea" from being stored in the browsing history.
Simply run the setup file linked to above. If Firefox is running during installation it must be restarted before CacheFire will function (the program should inform you about this)
After the GUI has started, enter a string; say www.example.com and click Add. Switch to Firefox and press Ctrl+H to bring up the history panel.
Now browse to www.example.com. You should see the history item for www.example.com first being added to the browsing history and a moment later removed by CacheFire.
