CatchUp is a easy to use podcast. A simple, platform independent podcast client written in Groovy and Java. It features an automatic cleanup of old files and an optional automatic volume adjustment using MP3Gain (mp3gain.sourceforge.net). Java SE 1.6.0 or higher is required.

User Guide
1. On the first program start you will be asked to choose a folder on your hard disk and a folder on your MP3 device. CatchUp will save all MP3 files first on the hard drive and will copy them to your device when you select "Edit/Synchronize MP3 device". Warning: Don't put any other file into those folders. CatchUp will delete every file that is not related to a podcast during synchronization.
2. If you have MP3Gain installed, enter the path to the program folder. CatchUp will then automatically adjust the volume for all downloaded files.
3. Choose the number of days the files should be kept. Files that were published before the given day count will be deleted automatically on the hard drive and on the MP3 device during the next synchronization.
4. Select "File/New podcast" to add the URL of a new podcast. CatchUp will immediately look for episodes published in the chosen time period (older episodes are ignored).
5. Choose one or several episodes by selecting them in the episode list. Clicking on a podcast title on the left side will select all its episodes. All selected episodes can be downloaded with the context menu (right mouse button click on a selected episode).
6. CatchUp will download up to three files at the same time. When all downloaded files got the "ready" status, it's time for synchronizing.
7. Select "Edit/Synchronize MP3 device" or hit F5.
8. All files copied to your device will get a "copied" status.
