On the Options Screen, you can change many settings including a setting to make Clipboard Live ask what to do with the Clipboard based on type. For example, if you are constantly pasting images from the web but sometimes you want it to paste as a local image and sometimes you want it to paste pointing to the original image then it might be better for you to have the Image Options prompt on.
