CodingConverter is a small Open-Source program to convert the encodings of text files. It has two interfaces, a command-line and a GUI. It has been created after a "film-night" when all the subtitles were broken or otherwise unusable. You can convert from almost any encoding to any, or remove all non-ASCII characters if you still have problems.
