DICOM Printer permits the user to print any document directly to a PACS server or to a DICOM film printer; this DICOM-enables most legacy devices that would normally have to be replaced. Just print to the DICOM Printer and your document appears in a queue. Then, from within the DICOM Printer, enter relevant information or perform a Worklist/Study search against your PACS to automatically retrieve patient data. Click Send and your document is stored on your PACS, or click Print to send to your DICOM film pinter. Share across a LAN to allow legacy Windows 9x/Linux/Mac devices to print directly to PACS. Recommended uses: addition of DICOM capability to legacy medical devices, printing from OS to a DICOM-compliant printer, submission of documents (Excel, Word) to PACS, creation of central networked workstation where DICOM print jobs are confirmed and submitted to PACS or Film.
