DNFWVD is a Windows console program that let you to quickly discovery which .NET FrameWork versions are installed into your computer up to version 4.0.
DNFWVD requires at lest Windows XP.
Using DNFWVD
You should start DNFWVD from command prompt or from another program or batch.
Command Line Options
DNFWVD supports the following command-line options:
usage: DNFWVD [/d] [/m] [/q] [/s] [/v:n] [/? | /h]
/d Display a detailed list that also covers all framework version.
/m Use a message box instead of the console for display the results.
/q Activate quiet mode (check and return the version without display).
/s Show the returned value that is the program exit code.
/v:n Check only if a specific version is installed. Valid flag formats are /v:1 or /v:1.0 or /v:10 (example for version 1). Please see note below.
/? Displays command-line usage (this help).
/h Displays command-line usage (this help).
Note
The program is able to detect .NET FrameWork version 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0. You can use these values with flag /v.
Return Value
DNFWVD returns the highter version found or the specific version if found (/v flag) or zero if .NET frameWork is not present. The return value is multiplied by 10 therefore 1.0 will be 10, 3.5 will be 35 and so on.
