Dessy is a DEsktop Search and SYnchronization framework for mobile devices. Search and synchronize metadata with this tool. It works on most devices that with a Java virtual machine. It allows finding files using words in their contents, metadata, and user-assigned tags. Dessy has been developed at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology HIIT by Eemil Lagerspetz. It uses the Syxaw XML-Aware File Synchronizer for synchronizing found results.
