DriverPacks BASE is a tool which can be used to slipstream the DriverPacks into your Windows installation files. Each DriverPack is a package of drivers for a particular category of hardware. There are for example DriverPacks for Sound devices and for Graphics devices. For each of these DriverPacks we include every device driver of that category. On top of that, we solve tricky problems - such as driver conflicts - for you.

DriverPacks BASE slipstream the DriverPacks (huge collections of drivers of a specific category of devices such as Graphics or Sound) into your Windows installation files. It can be used in more than 15 languages and allows you to easily choose the slipstream options, as well as the options for the DriverPacks Finisher.

The DriverPacks Finisher will also be slipstreamed into your Windows installation files and will handle all exceptions (such as control panels for drivers) nicely. You can also choose to extend the default Windows driver library, so that you will never have to go and find drivers again.

DriverPacks BASE is being recommended by many professional users and is being used at several universities and many PC shops.
1. Run c:\DPsBase\DPs_BASE.exe and select your language on the 'Start' page.
2. Click the button with the > sign on it (or click on settings) to display the 'Settings' page followed by the 'Location' page
3. On the location page (see fig1) Select BartPE and "Browse" to your Plugin folder.
note - If you select a valid BartPE Plugin folder the OS: field will change from 'N/A' to 'bartpe'
note - If you do not select a valid location you will not be shown the rest of the settings pages.
