EPS Extractor
|
Extract EPS files and raster art from Adobe Illustrator files. Extracts both placed EPS and embedded raster objects (not compatible with Illustrator 9 or higher, not compatible with Windows XP)
Extractor extracts EPS graphics or raster images such as TIFF files or rasterized art embedded in Adobe Illustrator files. Its a standalone product (not a plugin) that doesnt require Adobe Illustrator to work.
EPS Extractor Features:
1. Extract an EPS file from an Illustrator file.
2. Extract embedded raster objects as TIFF files.
3. If you've installed QuickTime, you can preview raster images and save them in JPEG, BMP or Photoshop format.
4. Open files by drag-and-drop.
5. Extract EPS in the background, so you can do other things while it works.
6. Extract EPS and raster art in batch mode.
Note: Extractor extracts only ASCII-format EPS files. EPS files saved with binary data may not extract properly. It's highly recommended that you use Illustrator 8 or higher to extract the file in the warning dialog that appears when opening the file.
Using Extractor
Extractor will work on one Adobe Illustrator file at a time. Open a file by selecting Open from the File menu, or by pressing Command-O, then use the standard Macintosh file dialog boxes to select an Adobe Illustrator file to open.
Please Note: this program can not support Windows 7 (64-bit).
