|
EasyTerm is an advanced terminal emulator, supports the DEC VT100 protocol and ANSI colors, keyboard macros, logging, and variable-size display. EasyTerm remembers all your choices between sessions, including 26 keyboard macros.
EasyTerm supports the standard Telnet protocol, and also permits sessions with many other protocols for system support work. EasyTerms performance has been verified with all standard UNIX terminal applications.
These instructions assume you have installed TCP/IP capabilities on the machine that will host EasyTerm. TCP/IP installation is beyond the scope of this document, please see your network administrator for assistance with this.
EasyTerm Features:
1. An advanced sockets-enabled Telnet terminal program.
2. Supports many protocols besides Telnet, such as SMTP and POP3.
3. Emulates a DEC VT100 terminal and supports ANSI colors.
4. Supports 26 simultaneous keyboard macros.
5. Log your entire session, supports clipboard transfers, and will print the current display.
6. Remembers up to 32 hosts and protocols.
7. Entirely Y2K compatible (I had to add this — people kept asking).
EasyTerms display can be resized in two ways:
1. You may choose the number of character rows and columns.
2. You may resize the Windows display to suit your preferences.
3. These sizing methods are independent of each other.
