1. Database Navigation

Running the Application
The first time the application is run the connection dialog will be displayed, because there are no connections defined for the system. To add a new connection; follow the steps below:
1. Click on Add New
2. Enter a connection name and optionally a description for the connection.
3. Select the Connection type (this example will use ODBC).
4. Select a template from ODBC template drop down.
5. Enter the appropriate attributes, username and password.
6. Click Apply
7. Click Test Connection to verify that your connection parameters are correct.

Note: The Connections dialog can be brought up at anytime from the menu Tools->Manage Connections.
