FileHasher is a simple tool for generating and verifying file hashes, a small tool for generating and verifying file hashes.
The supported command-line parameters are:
-create
Generates a file containing the hash value(s) of the specified file or files in the specified directory. Must be used with the -outfile parameter. Cannot be used with the -verify parameter.
-outfile
Specifies the name of the file that the generated file hash values should be written to. Must be specified when the -create parameter is specified.
-verify
Verifies the hash values of the files in the file system against the hash values in the specified file.
-rootDirectory
Specifies the root directory to use when generating absolute paths from the relative paths in the hash value file.
