Floody
|
Test your sites for flood resistance. This is a piece of software that connects to a user-defined host with TCP, and on command sends a specified amount of data rapidly to "flood" the host. Disclaimer: I take no responsibilty in any malicious attacks this tool may be used for.
How to use:
Floody can be used to test out how much data a server can take or to annoy your ISP (Not recommended). Just type in the host, which can be an IP address or the host name, the port you want to flood through, the amount of times you want to flood the target and the flood interval in milliseconds. One you have filled out the options then press the big 'Establish Connection' button. It should connect within two seconds. If the bar at the bottom turns green, then you are connected. When you are ready to flood, press the 'Start Flooding' button. Flooding will stop if
1. You press the 'Cancel Flooding' button
2. If the host disconnects from you
3. If the flooding is completed
4. If an error occured
Once the flooding has stopped you can either disconnect from the target by hitting 'Disconnect' or press 'Start Flooding' again to give the target another round. Enjoy my application and please don't use it for malicious reasons.
