Fractracer is a program for creating and rendering high-complexity 3D objects. IntroducingFractracer is a program for creating, exploring and rendering fractals and other high-complexity 3D shapes. Fractracer uses powerful script language for defining 3D shapes, scenes, and GUI elements, but can be used as 3D modeling tool without any knowledge of programming. Any created object can be exported as 3D triangle mesh to use in other modeling software.

Fractracer uses ".fts" file extension for scripts. Usually, fts file contains:
1. description of objects
2. visualization parameters (cameras, light sources, and so on)
3. windows layout
4. animation parameters (optional)

To open existing script, use main menu: "File"->"Open". Also you can use any provided sample from the "Samples" menu.

To start interactive session and rendering, use "Rendering"->"Run" from main menu. To stop session, use "Rendering"->"Stop".
Usually, when script is started, you should see Objects and Parameters dialogs. You can close any dialog or move it to another position. Any closed dialog, can be opened from main menu: "View->Toolbars and Docking Windows->Dialog Name".
To save rendered image, use main menu: "File"->Save Picture"
All program settings available from "Options" dialog: "Tools"->"Options"
You cannot change running script using built-in editor. When you stop session, all changes (parameters in dialogs, windows layout and so on) will be saved back into the script.
To save changes in the script, use "File"->"Save" from main menu.

Limitations:
* Rendered images are marked by "Demo" text.
* Maximum 3D mesh resolution is 128.
