Javecho - A Java based Echolink client. Javecho is an EchoLink client written in the Java programming language. The user interface is very similar to the standard Windows based Echolink software. This should help people familiar with the operations of the Windows version of EchoLink use Javecho.
The current version is 0.5.108, which is a pre-beta. I am continuing to fill out the remaining feature implementations and to fully implement all the different cases of connection control. I'd like to have active testers. If you are able to help with debugging by providing code diffs for fixes that would be great too.
Javecho does not support the Sysop mode yet, so it can't let you control your radio. I am working on this issue, and you can help make it more important by sending me an email telling me your interest, and then being willing to help out with some testing.
Javecho is aimed at the desktop EchoLink user. This means that I have provided some extra features for the user, and have some others planned for the future. Here is the list of extra features:
1. Simple web page browsing integrated into the software.
2. Follow me web browsing. When you turn this on, everyone that is connected to your station, that also has this enabled, will see their web page view change to the same view as yours. This lets you walk people through training or other information dissemination exercises.
3. Drag and drop friend addition. While in a QSO, you can go click and drag a station.
