Jumplist File Extract extracts file information from jump lists in Windows 7. Jump lists for Taskbar and Startmenu have been introduced with Windows 7 as quick shortcuts to files or tasks, associated with programs or web sites. If a program is removed from the Taskbar or Startmenu, its Jump list data is not deleted, so that it can be used again in case the program is pinned back to the Taskbar or Startmenu. This program can extract file information from Jump list data.

Jump lists for Taskbar and Startmenu have been introduced with Windows 7 as quick shortcuts to files or tasks, associated with programs or web sites. The Jump list data consist of an automatic and custom part, located in

%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\AutomaticDestinations,
%AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Recent\CustomDestinations.

Only one of the list files, custom or automatic, needs to be present. If a program is removed from the Taskbar or Startmenu, its Jump list data are not deleted but remain in the above locations, so that they can be used again in case the program is pinned back to the Taskbar or Startmenu.

This program extracts file information from the Jump list data. The registered version can export all extracted information into a Text or CSV file.
