Kurlo supports multiple user. An unlimited number of users can be created. Each user has his or her own set of individual and organization contacts, address books, address lists, email lists, preferences and email information and messages. A user password helps protect against unauthorized access.

Kurlo supports multiple address book. We can create, edit and delete address books to better organize our contacts. Each address book is capable of storing either individual or organization contacts.

In addition to running on our Windows computer, Kurlo can be run directly from our portable device (USB flash drive, portable hard drive, iPod/MP3 player, etc) on any Windows computer. This portability allows us to take Kurlo with us to school, work or wherever we go. An individual contact stores data such as name, nickname, spouse, children etc. An organization contact stores data such as name, organization type, contact person, etc. No longer do we need to mix our individual and organization contacts.

With Kurlo we can keep track of birthdays, anniversaries and custom events. Kurlo will keep track of all birthdays, anniversaries and custom events that we enter. We can view and print these events anytime. Kurlo will not only keep track of a contact's birthday but also the birthday of the contact's spouse and children. Also, the Upcoming Events dialog allows us to view and print birthdays, anniversaries and custom events that occur during the upcoming number days (1 - 30) specified by us.

Kurlo includes an event reminder. At login, Kurlo will remind us of birthdays, anniversaries and custom events that occur during the upcoming number of days (1 - 30) specified by us.

Kurlo allows us to create user-defined address lists. We can create an unlimited number of address lists that we can use to print address labels and envelopes. Each address list has its own name and set of addresses. We can add addresses to an address list either by manually typing the addresses or by selecting a contact's address and adding it to the list. If, for instance, we have a group of customers to whom we send a monthly mailing, we can create an address list named "Customers" and add the addresses of our customers to it. When we want to print address labels or envelopes for our customers, simply select the address list named "Customers" and all customer addresses on the list will be ready to print.

Kurlo allows us to create user-defined email lists too. We can create an unlimited number of email lists that we can use when creating an email message. Each email list has its own name and a set of email addresses. We add email addresses to an email list by selecting a contact's email address and adding it to the list. If, for instance, we have a group of friends to whom we frequently send email messages, we can create an email list named "Friends" and add the email addresses of our friends to it. When we want to send an email message to our friends simply select the email list named "Friends" and all our friends' email addresses on the list will automatically be added to the email message.

Kurlo allows us to custom fields as we need. We can enter an unlimited number of custom fields for each individual and organization contact. When we enter a new custom field we can choose from previously created custom field names or we can create a new one.

Kurlo provides powerful print functions for us. When we print contacts we can select the contacts to print and the fields (name, spouse, children, etc.) that we want to be printed. We can select from common label sheet sizes or customized label sheet sizes to print address lists and/or individual addresses. We can also select from common envelope sizes or customized envelope sizes to print address lists and/or individual addresses.

Kurlo allows us to send email messages directly from it. No need to open up another application to send an email message. There are 3 ways to add email addresses to an email: Add an email list. Select a contact's email address. Manually type an email address. In addition, Kurlo allows us to compose an email message and then transfer all of it's content (to, cc, bcc, attachments and body) to our default email application.

Kurlo provides an email central. With it we can manage all our sent and waiting email messages. Sent email messages are messages that have already been sent. Waiting email messages are messages that are either scheduled to be sent later or are saved for future editing. Moreover, we can create an email message today and have it be sent on any future date. We can change the send date at any time.

Kurlo provides features a quick search function for us. That allows us to search individual contacts by first and/or last name or search organization contacts by name. Advance Search allows us to search contacts by selecting the fields we would like to search. The contacts that match the search criteria will be added to the "Search Results" tab.

Import and export are necessary functions of Kurlo. We can import contacts to Kurlo from an export file created by Kurlo or another contact management system. We can also export contacts from Kurlo to Kurlo or to another contact management system.

For data safe Kurlo features a data backup function for us. Kurlo makes it easy for us to backup data (address books, contacts, address lists, email lists, user preference, etc) for all users or a specific user. Also, Kurlo automatically creates data backup files for added protection.
