Why can't I view my own files at the provided address?
If KiBi-Share is active, you should always be able to view your own files using your local address. Right-click the Copy to Clipboard button in the KiBi-Share window, and select Copy Local Address to copy this address, and paste it into your web-browser to see your file-list.

Do I need to configure my router for KiBi-Share?
It depends on your internet connection. In order for a connection to be established from across the internet, your router or modem must know that your computer is ready to receive one. This is commonly handled automatically through something called UPnP. UPnP is available in all modern routers and modems, but if it has been disabled, either in Windows or on the router, then a connection cannot be initiated, and a port must be manually forwarded. If you know your way around your router, manually forwarding a port and disabling UPnP can be the preferred method.

How do I achieve fast and resumable transfers of large files?
Share the file you wish to send with KiBi-Share as usual, and have the person receiving the file use a downloader with support for resuming and acceleration. Many modern browsers come with resuming built in, but if you are experiencing slow transfers a specialized downloader might be a better solution. KiBi-Share comes with its own download accelerator, which is recommended if the receiving person also has KiBi-Share installed. There are several alternatives available, and KiBi-Share is compatible with all common download accelerators.
