LePlayer is a video search tool that provides access to vast amount of videos that are streamed over the internet. It roughly categorizes the content into several main topics and a variety of other categories, and provides a search function to find video clips by keyword. The integrated player can be detached and floated, allowing for a more compact display that can be placed anywhere on your desktop. The video inventory ranges from news, sports, pranks to music videos and pretty much anything else that is streamed via a variety of online sites. LePlayer is big on content, but does not provide any options to save, manage or even bookmark any of the clips or search results. The program does not include any documentation and the interface and search functions can be a little confusing, but other than that it provides a convenient way to find specific video content and to access some of the major news stations without having to click your way through web pages.
