Little Fighter 2 (LF2) is a popular freeware fighting game for Windows. LF2 was created by Marti Wong and Starsky Wong. Its popularity has been substantial thanks to its simple yet addictive gameplay, its great replay ability and free at the point of use availability. The game can have up to 4 human players on one computer and 8 characters in network play at one time. Game modes include VS mode, Stage mode (where 1 or more players move through the environment killing increasing numbers and difficulties of enemies), Championship mode and Battle mode (involving mass armies led by a player).

Here's what you need to know about Little Fighter 2:
1. The different modes of play are this game's strong suite, and these add a lot to the game; you could choose to fight one-on-one or in teams or even armies of fighters; a one-off game or championship, etc.
2. Little Fighter 2 also allows for multiplayer play over the internet.
3. There are around 2 dozen fighters or so to choose to play; each one of these has their own special moves that are activated by certain key combinations.
4. There are only a dozen or so special moves per character (which is towards the low end for games of this genre). This simplifies things and makes the game easy to learn. You can see a list of characters and their moves here.
5. The graphics may be a bit stripped down but the game is VERY playable. If I had a criticism it is that the game wouldn't maximize to full screen for some reason.
