Digital Lens provides UI designers and developers the tools to view the visual design as it would be seen by vision impaired users.
Vision problems affect most of the population during their lives. Digital Lens was designed with the mission to simplify the process of finding problems that would make your UI less accessible to users with impaired vision. It provides UI designers and developers the tools to view the visual design as it would be seen by vision impaired users. By emulating common impaired vision conditions, Digital Lens users are able to identify issues in the UI and fix them before the product is released - with Digital Lens you are able to design a more accessible product.
Digital Lens currently supports the following filters:
1. Green-Red – Simulates green & red color blindness
2. Yellow-Blue - Simulates yellow & blue color blindness
3. Black-White – Simulates full color blindness
4. Blur - Simulates blurry vision
5. Dazzle – Simulates glare
Digital Lens supported Operating Systems: Windows 7, 32 bit version Aero Theme enabled - To select an appropriate theme launch "personalize your computer" and select one of the Aero Themes for your desktop
Please Note: If the display becomes blurry you can close Digital Lens by pressing the Windows key + Alt + D. Digital Lens is currently supported only on 32bit version of Windows
