If you have an (external) hard drive that sleeps, you can use this tool to keep it alive. Mighty Poke can keep your HDD alive by writing a small amount of data to a file on the selected drive, being able to choose drive, file and interval.
The usage is very simple: just input in the main window of Mighty Poke the drive letter and filename. Also, you will have to specify the time interval in hours, minutes and seconds.
