Analyze the pendulum of an accelerating train with this utility. Pendulum on an Accelerating Train model displays the model of a pendulum on an accelerating train. The problem assumes that the pendulum rod is rigid and massless and of length, L = 2, and the pendulum bob is of mass, m = 1. The initial pendulum angle and the initial velocity of the train can be changed via textboxes, and the acceleration of the train can be changed via a slider. You can modify this simulation if you have Ejs installed by right-clicking within the plot and selecting "Open Ejs Model" from the pop-up menu item.
