PhotoSpread
|
Organize your photos fast and easy. Tag photos, and compute sets of photos in an extension of spreadsheets. PhotoSpread assists in tagging photos with attribute/value pairs. The application also allows the constructions of photo sets, based on formulas over the tags. The program uses a spreadsheet metaphor. Note that the application is not intended to be a replacement for an image viewers.
You can:
1. Load images from your file system into a PhotoSpread spreadsheet cell.
2. Attach formulas to cells, analogous to Excel. The formulas express conditions over photo metadata. Qualifying photos appear in the respective cell.
3. Tag images in one of two ways:
* In a Metadata Editor, one image at a time.
* By attaching a formula to a cell, and dragging photos into that cell.
PhotoSpread extends the spreadsheet metaphor to tag and organize photos. Photo tags are attribute/value pairs, such as 'numPeople:4", 'date:04/02/2008'. Spreadsheet cells may hold sets of photos. Cells are populated via formulas that select photos via the photo tags. Formulas can refer to the contents of other cells, as the spreadsheet metaphor suggests. In addition, dragging photos to a cell with an attached formula will coerce the photos' tags to satisfy the formula. This mechanism enables bulk tagging.
You will need Java installed on your machine. Start the application with the accompanying .bat file.
