Display the Date Time Stamp when the video was recorded. SVDTS is a small application extension that allows date time stamping by using Sony Vegas Pro video editing tool. No other programs needed, you dont have to burn the date on your clips before editing them with recorded date info.

You must create date time format preset by using Sony Vegas Pro. Select the first track and insert -> Text Media... By default you will get Sample Text. Write the format e.g. dd.MM.yyyy HH:mm. Save the preset as DateTimeFormat.

You can edit properties of the format and save it with different name. Then you can "activate" some preset by just saving it as DateTimeFormat. It's the only one used by svdts.

Then start the Sony Vegas, and SVDTS tool can be found from tools, extensions menu. Time stamps can be added on a single video clip or photograph picture. In trackmode you can stamp all the clips on a video track.

SVDTS software is a very convenient way to stamp your clips. Clips are then grouped which makes it easy to handle and manage. Track mode has a few options e.g. the stamp is only added when the date is changed.
