SampleLooper
|
the ultrafast and highly accurate tool to compute seamless sustain loops in your sample library. SampleLooper is a utility to find seamless loops in wave-files. It is primarily intended for pipe organ samples, but may also be used with other samples as well. It works best with samples that have a fairly steady sounding sustain portion in which to find loops. SampleLooper can also be used to set the release markers used by software-samplers to switch between the sustain part and the release tail of a sample when the key is released.
The program uses an innovative and very fast shape matching algorithm to identify the best loop points within a specified search area. It uses the zero crossings of the dominant channel of the signal as starting points for the matching. The program finds a loop that is the best match for BOTH channels at the same time, in contrast to other loop finding tools that search for best matches for each channel separately. SampleLooper handles multiple loops natively, which makes it the ideal tool to loop samples for the Hauptwerk Virtual Sample Organ.
SampleLooper works with .wav-files in all standard formats, compressed wave data are however not supported. The program will not modify the wave-data itself, it will only add the loop and cue-marker information to the samples.
SampleLooper is designed for very fast and efficient looping of large sample sets and provides some helpful shortcuts to aid in rapid processing of sample files.

SampleLooper Features:
1. finds perfect loop points easily
2. works with multiple loops
3. lets you adjust three independent loop search areas
4. is optmized to work with large file collections
5. finds the release point in the sample
6. check loops and release markers with and without crossfade
7. automatically checks for overlapping good loops in three search regions
8. works with any standard sample format (uncompressed wav-files only)
Requirements:
1. PC running Microsoft Windows XP (all versions, VISTA currently being investigated)
2. No special requirements, any PC capable of running Windows XP or Vista should be sufficient to run SampleLooper.
3. Microsoft .net-framework Version 3.5
4. Audio-Device (Soundcard), must be recognised by the OS as wave-output-device.
SampleLooper can only work with files in .wav-format. All common sample rates and bit depths are supported, however, the sound data must not be compressed in the file.
Limitations:
* SampleLooper trial version will expire 14 days after installation. After this time you can only continue using the software by purchasing a license key.
* Settings cannot be saved/loaded. The full version allows you to save settings to a file and to maintain different setting sets for your projects, and it will also save its settings upon exit and load them the next time when you start the program.
* The program will only save 10 sample files and must be restarted to save more files. You can still test how fast you can process a large number of files by simply not saving the results.
* SampleLooper trial version will add an additional text chunk to the wave file stating that this file has been looped by SampleLooper unregistered trial version. This chunk is completely ignored by other software and the registered version does not write such information to the wave file at all.
* The trial version MUST NOT be used for commercial purposes!
The license of this software is Free Trial Software, the price is EUR40.00, you can free download and get a free trial.
