ShellEx

Execute shell actions like OPEN, EDIT, PRINT, FIND file and EXPLORE folder. ShellEx is a Windows program that will let you open a file with the default editor, print it or explore a folder and more.
Using ShellEx
You should start ShellEx from command prompt or from another program or batch.
Command Line Options
ShellEx supports the following command-line options:
usage: ShellEx [/A] [/E] [/I |/X | /R | /S | /D | /M | /N | /L] | [/?|/h] Action File [Parameters] [Directory]
Action Can be OPEN, EDIT, PRINT, FIND, EXPLORE and NULL.
File specifies the file or object on which to execute the specified action.
Parameters Specifies the parameters to be passed to the application.
Directory Specifies the default (working) directory for the action.
/a If fails try with requesting elevation.
/d Sets the show state based on creation.
/e Force to display a message box with the error text.
/i Maximizes the window.
/l Activates the window and displays it as a minimized.
/m Activates the window and displays it as a maximized.
/n Activates and displays a window.
/r Activates and displays the window.
/s Activates the window and displays it.
/x Preserve undo information, if possible.
/h | /? Displays command-line usage (this help).
If you run ShellEx without any parameter you get the above help.
Note
If Directory isn't specified it use the current working directory is used. If a relative path is provided at File, do not use a relative path for Directory.
Return Value
ShellEx returns zero if succeeds or not zero if fails.

shellex /e print c:\Data\Story.pdf
