System Availability Database
|
Log system outage events and create reports. Log events for IT or telecommunications system outages or incidents and run reports for system availability, downtime, outage durations, etc.
The System Availability Database is a standalone program that provides a simple database and intuitive interface to log system incidents with details about the outage. This includes outage date and time, restoration date and time, downtime, customer affected, type of outage and cause of the outage.
Reports allow summary and detail visibility for systems by group, including availability and downtime graphs. Systems are grouped by area if you want separate reports for each, and multiple filters can be applied for the reports.
The purpose of System Availability Database is to track system outages and measure system availability over a period of time. Every time that you have a system outage for one of your IT or telecom systems, you can log the even details in the Event Entry form. You'll see drop down boxes to choose from the options available. These options can all be defined by you in the administration screen. You can define your systems, outage types, causes, customers affected by these outages, etc. We'll get to that later.
All these available fields can be used as filters to run reports. For example, you can run a System Availability report for all your systems, or for only your Telecom systems, and only for a range of dates, or for a particular Type of outage ( such as complete failure, scheduled maintenance, etc).
The main screen is very simple. From here you can go to running reports, searching for records, entering new events, or the administration screen.
You can replace the Logo in the main page with your company logo if you want.
