System Check Runs a variety of checks on a windows machine.

3. GAC components
4. SQL databases
5. Pings
6. File existence / version number

This application uses a configuration file (checksettings.xml) to describe the checks that should be performed on the system. Checks are grouped into a check set (in the xml) and can be one of several types.

The user is presented with a combo displaying the available check sets and a run button to start check execution. When the run button is clicked the application runs through all of the checks in the set (GAC, SQL, File, Ping etc.) and displays the success, fail, warning or query on the checks.
