TMAJ is a tool created to analyze tissue microarrays, is designed for Tissue MicroArrays or TMAs. Patients, specimens, blocks, slides, cores, images and scores can all be stored and viewed with the help of this tool.

The specimens manager application enables the entry of patient, specimen, donor-block, and tissue diagnosis information. Optionally information about slides and blockUsages may be entered as well. The Slides and BlockUsages tables are extraneous tables, meaning it is possible to run TMAJ without putting data in either one of them.

TMAJ Server Setup:
Step 1: Download TMAJ
Step 2: Install Java 6 JDK
Step 3: Install Apache Tomcat
Step 4: Install Ant
Step 5: Setup the Database
Step 6: Setup the Config Directory
Step 7: Deploy Application
Step 8: Verify Application Works
