TrackBack automatically creates backup versions of important files and directories, every time they change. TrackBack saves more than just a few hours for those who work hard on complicated computer files.

With TrackBack, you have your own personal change management system that works in the background on your own computer, completely transparently. It automatically monitors the specific directories and files you select, and creates backup versions according to your parameters. This allows you to quickly compare original source files with the ones that have been changed and backed up. Differences displayed in the comparison can be viewed individually and moved, or restored, to the source file.

TrackBack has two main windows:
History Explorer.
Use this window when you want to find history information for a file that has been monitored by TrackBack.

Settings dialog.
This dialog lets you specify which directories and files to monitor, and how much backup information to
store. You'll see some parts of this dialog when you install TrackBack and can open it from the History Explorer.
