WinNote is a useful tool for writing notes and taking snapshots of your screen. When this window is reopened, the note created will be visible. WinNote may also create free notes, which are not associated to a particular window similar to "Stickies," but may hold complete multi page files.

WinNote allows the user to take a photo of a portion or his entire screen and either print or paste it wherever desired.

It allows for multiply users on one computer who will have their own databases and preference setting. It keeps all notes, files, shopping lists (collected information) in a Management Console, which can be organized as the user sees fit. The look and feel of this Management Console is very similar to Microsoft's email application Outlook.

WinNote Features:

3. Internet Shopping, is made easy. All the information you find that is important to you while you shop for a item can be dragged into a Note along with it's link, so that you can reopen that exact web page in the future. No need to bookmark dozens of sites you have visited in search of your item whatever it may be, a cruise, airline ticket, apartment to rent, new computer. You may also write your own comments right there.
4. Personal Notes and Reminders can be put on almost any open window, including secondary windows or child windows. These notes will reappear when this window is opened again. You will never forget what this window meant to you by simply adding important information, such as a phone number.
5. Screenshot, when you open a window and do not want to print the entire window. Click "capture screenshot" from the icon in the system tray.
6. Bookmarking the place you last left off, when reading news articles or on a site that products are constantly being added, rather then trying to find where you left off last time, simply add a Note to that window and drag in wherever will remind you your place. The next time you open this site, your Note will appear with this reminder, now all you need to do is find the appropriate page.
