The FASTQ format is a text-based format specially designed to store both a biological sequence and its corresponding quality scores. Both the sequence letter and quality score are encoded with a single ASCII character for brevity. Features: fastq compression and decompression.

QuickTsaf.exe [Options] fastq|compressed fastq. The input file could also be in the standard input. The output file is written on the standard output.
Options:
-m, --mode=VALUE the mode: encode|decode
-l, --length=VALUE the length of the reads
-z, --compression=VALUE the compression method to use: none|gzip - standard is gzip
-h, --help show this message and exit
